Who am I!

I’m Arman Alipour.

A 2D animator, director, and visual storyteller drawn to the quieter side of movement — the space where emotion becomes texture, and images behave more like memories than narratives.
For more than fifteen years, I’ve been creating short animations, music videos, visual experiments, and commercial pieces shaped by atmosphere, rhythm, and psychological tension.

Most of my work lives somewhere between dream and collapse — surreal, dark, intimate, and sometimes strangely calm.

I’m interested in imperfect movement. In silence.

In distorted faces, empty spaces, mechanical feelings, fragmented thoughts, and the emotional weight hidden inside simple gestures.

Animation, for me, was never just about motion. It was always about presence. About making something feel alive for a few seconds before it disappears again.

Over time, commercial projects taught me precision and structure, while personal work became a place to explore identity, fear, memory, isolation, and the abstract side of human experience. That contrast still shapes the way I approach every frame.

My process usually begins with emotion rather than design. A sound, a sentence, a texture, or sometimes just a feeling difficult to explain. From there, the visuals slowly emerge — frame by frame, like something excavated rather than created.

Outside of commissioned work, I continue developing independent films and experimental narrative projects through online platforms and ongoing collaborations.
